No Roosevelt Island Tram Service From Thursday 10 PM - Friday 6 AM For Brake Test

If you are coming to or leaving Roosevelt Island on Thursday night be aware that the Tram will be out of service (second time this month) from 10 PM until 6 AM Friday morning according to the following Roosevelt Island Tram advisory from RIOC:

EARLY SHUTDOWN

On Thursday, October 29th, the Tramway will be shutdown at
10:00 pm, and resume service on Friday, October 30th, at 06:00 am.
This schedule change is necessary in order to perform the track rope brake test.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this schedule change.

Use the F subway train. No advisories from the MTA so far.
