MTA's Fast Track Subway Program Returns To Roosevelt Island This Week - No Roosevelt Island F Train Service In Either Direction 10 PM to 5 AM Monday - Friday - Q Line Extended To Roosevelt Island At These Times
MTA's Fast Track program returns to the Roosevelt Island F train line this week. There will be no Roosevelt Island F Train service in either direction from 10 PM - 5 AM Monday May 14 - Friday May 18. During these hours, Roosevelt Island will be served by the Q Train.

According to the MTA website there will be no F train running toward Brooklyn from Roosevelt Island this weekend. Please someone out there correct me if I read the planned service delays wrong. If I am correct, what is the point of the fast track night rerouting? I thought that the night work would eliminate these weekend daytime disruptions.
good question - mta site does say no Manhattan bound f train service from Roosevelt Island this weekend.
The only thing I can think of is that the Fast Track Work overnight this
week does not prevent Q train service to Roosevelt Island so perhaps
that has something to do with this weekend's work
