Scenic Dresser/Prop Builder Needed For Outdoor Roosevelt Island Summer Production Of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing

A new Roosevelt Island theater group, Island Shakespeare, is coming to Roosevelt Island and they plan on performing Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing this summer at the Eastwood Amphitheater located behind 540 Main Street....

Description:

Island Shakespeare, an experience theatre company located on Roosevelt Island, is seeking an additional member of its production team for it's summer production of Shakespeare's ''Much Ado About Nothing.'' Thomas R. Kee, dir. Rehearsals start May 21st. Performances run June 15- July 1 (Fri-Sun) on Roosevelt Island. We are looking for someone with sewing skills and their own space to work who feels comfortable building some of the prop and set pieces we need. Sewing skills are very important as we'll be working a lot with fabrics building flags, tents, etc.

This job will have a limited stipend.
