Car Owner Objects To Receiving Roosevelt Island Parking Ticket Near Southpoint Park - Illegible and Unclear Parking Signage In Area

Car owners parked on Roosevelt Island's West Channel Road near the entrance to Southpoint Park received $60 tickets recently. A car owner who received one of these parking tickets posted this You Tube Video explaining why he objects and will fight the ticket. He and others report being unaware that the area did not permit parking due to unclear and illegible signage.

I think parking should be prohibited anywhere by default except for areas that are explicitly marked as parking allowed. When in doubt: just don't park here.

There are also Adult Entertainment Clubs including upscale clubs: Choice Gentlemen's Club on 2nd Ave (upscale with white tablecloths) as well as the Seville Club on Glenwood Ave. Two other adult clubs, Dj Vu on Washington Ave. and Dream Girls on 5th St. are more of a low-key atmosphere. A forklift is a vehicle similar to a small truck that has two metal forks on the front used to lift cargo.&... It's just that one has to take care while purchasing one. The maintenance is not easy, especially considering the fact that the truck is worn out, old and has been in use for such a long time. And that's what really counts.
