Looking at the artist mock-ups, I hope they put glass on the vertical sides that are created...

The platforms always looked strange without a canopy or roof - thank goodness RIOC is finally putting the canopies in place!

It's funny how the RIOC calls 10am-3pm non-peak hour times. Most schools let out kids between 2 and 3pm and w/o the tram things become more complicated.

also happening with this post which I am reading now.

This is precisely why people are always complaining. The Tram renovation has been going on for more than 3 years. This was scheduled to be done when the cabins etc. were upgraded. Then it was the summer of 2011 so it would be ready for the cold weather. Now we are in the middle of winter 2013 and it is being done. If you watch the film above it seems that there were still questions as to the materials to be used. Also, why can't the Tram run for free. People could exit and enter the doors that are used now for discharge. The station proper would not have to be used. The employees are probably all coming to work on their regular shifts. It would save having Red Buses caught in traffic going to and from Manhattan.

I am much more concerned about the weekend subway schedule inconveniences. Is it ever going to end? Does anyone know what they are doing?
