Law And Order SVU Episode Filmed On Roosevelt Island Airing Tonight 9 PM

Roosevelt Island Historical Society (RIHS) President Judy Berdy reports that the Law and Order SVU episode filmed on Roosevelt Island last month will be shown tonight at 9 PM on NBC.

Tabling/removing them was a good tactical move insofar as had the motions not been canceled, they would let to a great deal of strife. They were never intended as actual motions that a body such as RIRA might have passed. They were intended to open a can of worms - trigger a disagreeable discussion.


At least they were filed - symbolic protest motions perhaps. Those that took them seriously are the ones that need to have their heads examined.

CK, I disagree: adding more absurdity to absurdity doesn't make for less absurdity. RIRA needed to get back to doing its regular business.

Helen submits motions and admits "they were never intended as actual motions". If RIRA exists purely to entertain it's members, it does not exist to serve the community. If RIRA permits its members to play these games, it will continue to lose credibility with islanders.
