Friday, October 17, 10:30am-12pm & 3pm-4:30pm (Children) Sesame Street Day: Celebrate the 45th anniversary of the beloved children's program "Sesame Street" by participating in various fun activities at Roosevelt Island Library! 10:30am-12pm - Play games, win prizes, and color in pictures of your favorite characters. 3pm-4:30pm - Go on a scavenger hunt in the library to find the Sesame Street muppets.

Tuesday, October 21, 6pm (Adults) Film Screening: "Live and Let Die" (1973) (Rated PG) Roger Moore stars as secret agent James Bond (licence to kill 007). Bond does battle with a deadly crime organization that has tentacles in the heroin trade as well as politics and assassination. Bond's adventures take him to NYC, New Orleans, and the Caribbean.

Wednesday, October 22, 3pm (Children) Halloween Craft: Create a Halloween decoration using paper, glue, crayons, glitter, wiggle eyes, and more. All materials will be provided. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first served basis.

Tuesday, October 28, 3:30pm (Teens) Recycling Art: Participants will learn how to use recycled materials in an art project. Presented by Vickie Freemont.

Wednesday, October 29, 11-11:30am (18mos.-3yrs) Toddler Story Time: Halloween Edition - This special edition of storytime will feature Halloween-themed stories, action songs, and fingerplays. You are welcome to come dressed in Halloween costumes.

Thursday, October 30, 4pm, (Children ages 4 and older) Falling for Stories: These stories speak to the magical season of autumn - from Halloween tales to stories of the harvest. Presented by Julie Pasqual
