A hearty congratulations to Ms Berdy. For some time, I thought she lived right around the corner from me in a house shaped like a Kiosk and serving visitors to our Island with memorabilia so not to forget us. Now, I realize she is all over this Island, if not physically, certainly in spirit. My apology for coughing somewhat uncontrollably during a recent presentation to the RIOC Governance Committee in that a gentleman should not disturb the words of such a wonderful Woman of Distinction.

Congratulations to Judy Berdy for this well-deserved honor! We owe the continued survival of many of our historic sites to her efforts. I hope funding does come through from the developers to enable Judy and the RIHS to continue their great work.
