It was a cold and snowy Roosevelt Island Easter Egg Hunt today but that didn't stop the fun.

Roosevelt Island's 2015 Easter egg hunt gets an unwelcome guest: snow. A good day for pinwheels, though

I had a quick glimpse from the MP lobby and saw that they just spread tons of eggs all over the lawn and let hundreds of kids lose. Sucks for the kids at the back of the pack.

If only RI had a park with lots of opportunities to really hide eggs, enough space for all the kids.... Southpoint Park?

I see what you're saying Yet, but is the greenery really out at Southpoint Park? Anyplace it'd be the same leafless "dreariness" with few actual hiding-places, since there are only branches, no leaves. But I understand what you're saying - another park such as Southpoint Park, might make for more creative play in discovering hidden eggs throughout the park rather than simply picking them up off a lawn. I'm not sure how Egg Hunts are traditionally conducted though - maybe they are usually held on lawns. Also, the hunt can't be too "challenging" since there are little kids taking part.
