MyFoxNY Reporter Discovers Roosevelt Island - Interviews Residents And Declares The Word Is Out And It's Fabulous

Image From MyFoxNY Video

MyFoxNY reporter Christal Young visited Roosevelt Island recently, interviewed some residents and discovered it is fabulous.
Roosevelt Island Historical Society President Judy Berdy talked about the Octagon Asylum ruins restoration into a luxury apartment building

Riverwalk Bar & Grill owner Jonathan Hoo said that after a first few years of taking lumps with slow business he has his fingers crossed for a bright future with the coming of new residential developments and Cornell Tech.

Other residents did not want to talk to the reporter because it is so great they want it to stay that way and not tell others.

Here's the MyFoxNY report on Roosevelt Island.

I doubt the Bar & Grill has really been "taking lumps with slow business." considering that it is often crowded with a capital C with ZogSport folks.

Glad to hear Christal Yooung LOVES the tram. Who were the TV reporters who could not wait to get back to the terra firma on the Manhattan side and literally kissed the ground?

Yes. That was Fox Good Day NY's Rosanna Scotto and Greg Kelly.

The video is no longer available but there is a screen shot of them kissing the ground at Second Avenue after getting off Tram.

Good memory.

Way to represent Jonathan Hoo ... they virtually have a monopoly here and are still not making money? Come on, not buying it.

Appears that Fox has a LOVE/Hate relationship with the Island.
