Roosevelt Island Parents' Network Holiday Crafts For Kids Saturday Morning December 19 - Make A Giant Snowflake, Please RSVP By Wednesday December 16

Roosevelt Island Parents' Network Coordinator (RIPN) Eva Bosbach reports:

Dear all,

We hope your December is going well and are happy to be able to offer another weekend get-together opportunity for Island families. The next event in the free "Crafts with Kids" series by the Roosevelt Island Parents' Network will be a "Holiday Craft" on Saturday, December 19, 10-11am at the Senior Center, 546 Main Street.

During the "Holiday craft" children will create giant snowflakes that can be used as window art, placed on your door, or even serve as an handmade ornament for your Christmas tree. They are very simple to make and look great.

We will also have some books ready for a winter holiday related story time.

We thank Dolores Green, Barbara Parker, Wendy Hersh and Marylin Atkins from the Senior Center for letting us use their space for the event. Another thank you goes to HOPE RI Church for sponsoring the event supplies and to Neha, an Island mom of two and our "Crafts with Kids" organizer!

Please RSVP to eva.bosbach@gmail.com by Wednesday, December 16. Please let us know if you can bring books about winter holidays for the story time or for our little kids book shelf during the event.

And as always: If you have craft event ideas you would like us to include in the "Craft with Kids" series, or if you have other ideas for activities of the RI Parents' Network, please get in touch with me.

Greetings,

Amanda, Christina, Neha and Eva
