Rats At Pier Greet Roosevelt Island Photographer Taking Pictures Of Autumn Colors Today

Roosevelt Island resident Irina Hage went out today to take some pictures of the Roosevelt Island Autumn colors

but was greeted by an unwelcomed neighbor at the subway pier. Ms. Hage reports:

I was out with my camera today, to catch the nice fall colors on our Island.

Then I wanted to enjoy my coffee at the pier, after I heard a noise at my back I saw two rats.

I was not happy, as you can imagine, during the daylight that is very bad.

Hope somebody will do something against our new neighbors.

More garbage cans and people not leaving food on the ground would be a start.
