Jazzmobile at Roosevelt Island's Good Shepherd Plaza Tonight 7PM With Jazz Vocalist Ghanniyya Greene

Jazzmobile, the longest running New York City Summer Jazz Festival, is returning to Roosevelt Island's Good Shepherd Plaza tonight at 7 PM with a performance by Jazz Vocalist Ghanniyya Greene.

What is Jazzmobile? According to All About Jazz:
Jazzmobile has been bringing quality jazz performances and education programs to New York Metropolitan area residents since its founding in 1964 by pianist, educator, and NEA Jazz Master Dr. Billy Taylor and arts patron, the late Daphne Arnstein. The non-profit is working to ensure the future of jazz by training the next generation of artists in its Saturday Jazz Workshops and lecture-demonstrations in New York City public schools...

Let's not forget the once-a-year pool party the Manhattan Park management throws for their real estate agents. It makes life in apartments in 30 and 40 River Road facing the pool unbearable until late in the night.
