With the Yankees being elimated from the playoffs summer is now over. The fall has begun and the cycle starts anew.
It's time for the Roosevelt Island Weekend Waterfront Music Video.

what has the video got to do with roosevelt island? or am i missing something? thanks
The concept for these videos is not that they are specifically related to Roosevelt Island but that they have something to do with waterfront activities or communities. Click on the waterfront link for examples of what I mean.
The idea is to (1) showcase waterfront activites, such as boating, swimming, kayaking and relaxing, and (2) highlight other waterfront and Island locations, like Newfoundland Canada and the Pacific Northwest, accompanied by a good tune from bands that I like such as Great Big Sea, The Chieftains or Jimmy Buffett.
I did not think that Jimmy Buffetts's Margaritaville or Cheeseburger in Paradise were appropriate songs for this time of the year. With the weather getting cooler and the Yankees season over this week, I thought a song about renewal, change of seasons and "there is always next year" was appropriate.
