Five Candidates Running For RIOC Board Nominations - Come Meet And Ask Them Questions On Tuesday Night 7 PM

Received the following from the Main Street WIRE Bulletin regarding the RIOC Board Nominee Candidates.
Five RIOC Board Candidates
Speak Tuesday Night at 7:00

Five residents have now entered the race for community nomination to the Board of Directors of the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation. They are:
Lee Edelman
Tammy Jackson
Michael Shinozaki
Margie Smith
Lorraine Williams
They are schedule to speak tomorrow evening (Tuesday, May 12) at 7:00 p.m. at Candidates Night at the Good Shepherd Community Center.

Are those candidates in addition to Feely-Nahem and Farance? The latter two do not have to be elected anymore since they have gotten their votes in the last election?

yes they are in addition to Ms. Feely-Nahem and Mr. Farance.

Hmmm... out of fairness shouldn't we be able to vote for them as well? So many things have changed over the last few months.

Neither Farance nor Feely-Nahem were selected after the interview and background checks, so neither of them will get approved by the Governor's office this time either. It would be wise to vote for someone you think will get approved by the State.
