PSD Officers ... Be Careful & Protect Yourselves.

Check your kid's school bags...make sure they're not the ones writing graffiti around here. It's disgusting!

For parents to check their kids bags , they would actually need to take some responsibility to know or care where their kids are. Every night there are groups of kids hanging out on Main St, many of which are up to no good.

well just because youths hang outside on main street don't mean their doing something bad.most of you old people forgot what being young meant. i have a problem with the way our black youths are treated here on the island and i will make sure it's well known and something will be done about it.we never see any other races besides the blacks and hispanics(mostly the darker skin ones) racist people here on this island and you all know who you are, but someone has their eyes on you too..so just know all the public safety officers and those who behave like them and think like them.. someone is watching you too.and we all will reap what we sow..if you live right you reap right if you live wrong it will come back to you..just because you have a badge should not make you just mistreat people and be rude.. GOD bless the good authority but the not so good will get back what they give. the way the youth are treated is unfair and uncalled for.. now you have undercover pso..just come out and expect everyone to know who they are..it's wicked and it will not be tolerated of how you treat our youth of color. we love our youth like you all love yours..what if someone did to your loved ones what you do to ours. you would not like it, and we don't either. if you give respect you get respect. stop hating these youth and try to speak to them like a human supposed to speak to another. if you have a problem with skin color, then you need to talk to GOD about it.we all bleed the same color blood..no race is better than the other. why are the non blacks not being mistreated by psd... it's good and bad in all races, not just blacks and hispanics..all the parents of all the youth here on the island need to make your voices and complaints be known to everyone and anyone..youths are still children even if they are 18 -22 the brain does not become fully developed until about age 25-27..no one is perfect but treat people with respect just because their blacks don't mean their bad and can be knocked down and rough handled like a dog wouldn't be..I thank GOD,that he sees all and knows all.nothing you can do or say will be hidden from those who need to see and hear it..he will let it be known at sometime it will all be known. when things go wrong in our lives then we must think why? what did i do to deserve this? bad comes to bad wrong to wrong and it's no escaping that. we all should learn to respect each other, don't just assume someone is bad because of their color.. that's racist and it's evil.try to at least work with the youth because they will grow up and GOD can change things around, to where they can have some authority too.we all have a calling and a master plan for our lives...GOD is in control and he will tread down our enemies.and those who mistreat us for no reason..none at all.. i pray for you all as well as all the youth.

I find that picture offensive! My teenage son dresses exactly like that... actually MOST of the teenage boys on the Island dress just like that. Hoodie, Facemask, Book Bag EVERYTHING. How dare you post up a photo like this, where are the Posters of BUSINESS MEN WHO ARE SCAMMERS! Where are the pictures of MID-TWENTIES WHITE MALES - WHO ARE SERIAL KILLERS! Thanks to THIS POSTER my SON WILL BE LOOEKD UPON AS A CRIMINAL. HOW DARE YOU!

Well, poster above, when was the last time you sat down with your child and talked about what's he doing with his free time?

Hey I am the poster above you, I sit and talk with my son almost daily. He is an honor roll student, second highest grades in his class. He wears hoodies and a ski mask because its COLD outside (and walks almost 5 avenues each morning to school) he wears his book bag all the time also, when not going to and from school, he has old sneakers to play in, or he might have his xbox controllers and some games in his bag and depending on the day he may even have a blackbook and some paint markers. Twice a week he has a art class after school where his specialty is graphics. And NO he does not write up on the walls of Roosevelt Island, why do you ask or how do I know for sure. Well its not because I take his word alone for it. I ask PSD and maintenance workers what names or tags are up around the island, I know what my son doodles and does. My son also knows I will KICK HIS A@@ if I found out he was that DUMB. PSD knows me and knows him, He knows if he gets involved with some CRAP that I will get a phone call, or a text from someone. Letting me know he is where he shouldn't be or he with people he shouldn't be with.
I also go through his room when ever I see fit, reading folded papers, shoot I even look through texts, school email and his facebook account.

You posters are out of whack. I have yet to see a white kid commit a robbery, burglary or any other serious crime on the island. Every time I see someone locked up it's primarily a dark person(Hispanic, black, whatever). I guess psd and nypd only go out of their way to go after minorities... Right! Get real! The island is plagued with gangs who are primarily made up of minorities. As young as 13 years old and they belong to a blood gang. Psd just arrest, oh my, a minority black male with a FIREARM a few weeks go. And they ohhhhh my lordy lord, arrest several gang bangers as well who happen to be minorities(fact), get off your high horse and stop playing the race card, those days are over. Get out of your apartment and follow your kids around and see what they really do. This is why they et away with the things they do, you live in a glass bubble and are scared to explore your Childs actions and who he hangs out with.

Oh and unfortunently there are no white serial killers or white scanners plaguing this small island, it's the gangbngers who wear those things and who have been identified as such, who are wearing the clothing description. How bout teaching yout child how to wear a belt and stop showing his buttox to the entire world. Typical and disturbing.

"Unfortunently there are no white serial killers or white scanners plaguing this small island."

??! I feel pretty fortunate that I haven't crossed paths with a serial killer on RI.

Hmmm 'white' people not committing crime on RI. I can think of one off the top of my head that has been arrested 14 or 15 times for breaking into cars, houses, apartments and offices. Another guy for stealing a laptop and a camera. Another guy for trying to murder his wife. Another guy who is an arsonist when he is off his meds. Several guys arrested with assorted drugs. Several guys arrested trespassing. Kids arrested making graffiti. One great RI resident has even been in jail for a total of 15+ years.
I hate it when people think only certain people commit crimes.
People working in law enforcement are doing God's work. When the time comes, they have the courage to stand up to the evildoers. lol.
If you feel they are doing such a bad job on this island, call your neighborhood crackhead or gangbanger when you need help.

The bottom line is that crime knows no color. If you commit a crime, you're going to get arrested. If you are respectful, you will be treated with respect - but if you give the officers a hard time & curse at them, then you run the risk of being treated like you deserve to be.

I saw PSD locking up this whiote dude for breaking a camera. He was very respectful, admitted he did it and was treated fairly.

I also saw 2 dark skin guys being arrested in an Eastwood lobby, and they were fighting with the officers, so they got what they deserved in return.

A poster above talked about reaping what you sow, living right and things coming back to you - well that applies to the bad guys too!

It does not matter if you are black, white, purple, green, or orange. If you break the law you SHOULD be arrested. There needs to be ZERO tolerance for any illegal activity, on RI and all cities and states. I personally enjoy each time I see someone on RI getting arrested, because it means that PSD is doing their job and the system works.

To the poster above who mentioned God several times, you are living in a fantasy world. It is views like yours that is one of the big problems with society today. The race card has gotten real old.
