Here's Rachel Maddow's full report on the connection between Occupy Wall Street Protest and the Roosevelt Island Tram/Gondola. (Thanks for the tip Chris).
Ms. Maddow is not entirely correct regarding Main Street in New York City. There are several New York City Main Streets although Roosevelt Island's Main Street, like Wall Street, is the only one in Manhattan. As reported in this previous post:

It is the SEC and Greenspan that all those kids yelling and screaming should be directing their angst at. They are all angry because their inheiritance is gone...one of them have a job it seems or they would be working trying to earn a living.
All the head of the SEC and Greenspan know what was going on, they failed to monitor the banks and brokerage firms that las 10 or so years so they are whom you should be yelling at. Be more specific in your pointing of fingers, Wall Street is not the bad guy here. It is the powers that be in Washington...that is where you should march on and march on at!
