This event is fun for all and could potentially attract visitors to come and spend an afternoon here.

Why doesn't RIOC put a notice on the Tram Screens to promote these wonderful activities? The Marrowthon has been playing for eight weeks, but not a word about these wonderful FREE events for children of all ages, foodies and potential artists.

Instead, we are reminded about the summer movie series, which ended six weeks ago.

Erica and RIOC, it takes more than posters three days in advance and a banner by the subway station to generate foot traffic.

Because RIOC is government workers, they repeat the same things over and over again like in a script, and do not care about important issues here on RI. RIRA is like the mickey mouse club, take roll call, sugar coat the bad things, over look what is needed and ask for donation for lord only knows what for. The same 20 or so people come to the meetings and only a little less than 10 percent of the population on this island voted for the members and they can still say they represent the island?

The disregard for the elderly and handicapped here is just so outragious, it really is just unreal.

They push the blood drive, the movie series in the summer with those loud speakers, and talk about how the new park is for everyone, yet you cannot even get a bus down there, and also how diverse and wonderful RI is?  Things are so tilted here and unbalanced, I see now why nobody comes to the RIRA meetings, just a silly lot, yet they are allowed to prance around and say they represent the popluation here? There needs to be an end to that..huge conflict of interest that group has. The fact that the government workers at RIOC are allowed to say and do some of the things they do as well is just absurd. They discriminate against the disabled and put it in writing as well?
