The Roosevelt Island Cornell Tech campus and new Tech Cafe were originally scheduled to open on Monday July 17. However, the campus and cafe public opening has been delayed for a few days. According to a Cornell Tech spokesperson the campus and Cafe opening:
... will be a rolling process over the next couple weeks,...
and students/staff will begin moving into the Residential building starting August 1.

I took a walk around the Cornell Tech construction site on Saturday, July 15. Here's a brief look

and a longer walk

around the campus perimeter.

On Monday, a tour of the campus was given to visiting Mayors
and yesterday, tables and chairs

were seen in front of the Bloomberg Center Academic building.

Cornell Tech is almost ready for business and public viewing.
