Good News, Roosevelt Island F Train Service To And From Manhattan This Weekend - No Metro Card Vending Machine Credit Card Transactions Next Weekend

According to the MTA, there will be Roosevelt Island F Train service

to and from Manhattan this weekend.

Also, plan on no credit card transactions at Metro Card machines for next weekend. MTA originally scheduled Metro Card machine upgrade for this weekend but postponed to next weekend after protest about lack of notice.

We heard you all loud and clear. We’re going to postpone this weekend’s planned MetroCard machine upgrade for a week while we work to shorten the process and more clearly answer customer concerns. More to come on Monday.
