Roosevelt Island Halloween Parade Extravaganza Today, Costumes, Rides, Game Booths, Candy, Treats, Marching Band, Magic Show & More - Lots Of Fun For Kids Of All Ages.

Roosevelt Island's annual Halloween Parade Extravaganza took place today,


 beginning at Blackwell Park



and ending at Capobianco Field



with costumes, game booths, rides, cotton candy, music

and a magic show.



The Roosevelt Island Halloween Extravaganza was sponsored by Urban American (Roosevelt Landings), the Roosevelt Island Youth Center, and the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation, with contributions from Amalgamated Bank, Main Street Sweets, Westview, Island House, Rivercross, Cornell Tech, and Hudson Companies.

Roosevelt Island's NYC Council Member Ben Kallos, also known as Captain America, posed


with Roosevelt Island Parents' Network Coordinator Eva Bosbach and her family. Captain America tweeted:

Roosevelt Island's NY State Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright participated in the Halloween Extravaganza and updated residents on the status of Public Purpose Funds legislation which is still waiting for Governor Cuomo's signature. Ms. Seawright was introduced by Urban American's Doryne Isely.
