Roosevelt Island Residents Association Meeting Tonight, Last Meeting Before New RIRA Elections, Come Learn What Is Going On - Also, State Senator Jose Serrano Constituent Office Hours This Afternoon From 4 to 7 PM

The Roosevelt Island Residents Association (RIRA) will be meeting later today, 8 PM at the Good Shepherd Community Center (543 Main Street).

This will be the final meeting of the current RIRA Common Council Members elected in 2010 each serving a 2 year term and the last meeting as RIRA President for Matt Katz. If you are interested in serving on the RIRA Common Council starting in November 2012, click here for more information on the upcoming RIRA election.

As always, prior to the start of each monthly meeting there is a public session in which residents can come and address the Common Council Delegates on any issue of concern. Among tonight's Public Session speakers is Cathy Dove, Vice President of Cornell NYC Tech and resident Neil Stueber who was involved in a recent incident with the Public Safety Department.
