Attended last night's award event that honored the RIHS and the team that worked so hard on the Kiosk.
Might have been nice to see a few more Islanders there. There were
7 or 8 of us, plus Judy's Mom and Brother, who got to thank Judy B.
She and Debra, and the other members of the RIHS deserve a lot of credit and applause. If you have not been to the Kiosk -- by all means pay them a visit.
Congratulations, Judy!
A well-deserved honor for Judith & the RIHS! A suggestion: Could RIOC place a sign in the lawn in front of the tram directing visitors from the tram to the kiosk, such as "Roosevelt Island Visitors Center" with an arrow pointing to the kiosk. Not sure if it is immediately clear to arriving tourists/sightseers that the kiosk is in effect a Visitors Center.
