More Problems With Roosevelt Island Escalators This Morning - They Don't Work But At Least They Talk
A very unhappy Roosevelt Islander sends the following message concerning Roosevelt Island's new escalators and overcrowding at subway station:
At the top level, of the 3 "open" escalators, during prime rush this morning none were going down: 1 didn't work and 2 going up.
Subway arrived so packed some woman literally pushed her kids in on top of people.

Can the MTA please tell us what is the big problem fixing the Roosevelt Island escalators that were just installed so that they work on a regular basis? Or is having talking, non-working escalators the best we get?
