RIOC Has Summer Jobs Available For Roosevelt Island Students - Get Your Applications In

You Tube Video of Roosevelt Island Recession

I noticed that RIOC had a Summer Jobs listing on Craigslist and inquired of RIOC President Steve Shane:
There is a posting on the Craigslist jobs board dated 5/12 indicating that summer jobs for NYC students as grounds keepers and maintenance workers were available through RIOC. I did not see anything about this on the RIOC web site and was wondering if the summer job opportunities listing was accurate and still available?
Mr Shane had RIOC's Director of Human Resources reply:
The posting on Craigslist is accurate, and yes, we still have positions available for both seasonal Grounds and Maint. workers.. The post will be up on our website soon.
I hope this answers your questions.
Good News! Summer jobs information for Roosevelt Island students is now available on the RIOC web site:

Seasonal Job Opportunities
The Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation (RIOC) has summer job opportunities for NYC students. The minimum age requirement is 18 years. Positions will be available from May 15th through September 1st, 2009.

Perfect for recent High school grads or college students!...
I hope that the teens who created the Roosevelt Island Recession You Tube video apply for and get some of these summer jobs.

Is a driver's license required for either job?

Jobs mentioned here are for summer of 2009. No information yet on whether there will be 2010 summer jobs from RIOC.
