Above image of Kahn/FDR Memorial granite room (some call it a "death box) is a portion of what is proposed to replace the current existing open panoramic views at the Southern tip of Roosevelt Island's Southpoint Park where the wedding photo was shot. What a shame if these one-of-a-kind views are destroyed in the name of President Franklin D Roosevelt.

The Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation Board of Directors will be holding their monthly Board of Director meetings on Thursday and the 9th agenda item is the proposed construction phasing of the Kahn/FDR Memorial.
