NYPD Community Officer And Manhattan DA Representative Report On Roosevelt Island Public Safety Issues To RIRA Meeting Last Night - For The Most Part, Very Safe and Great Place To Live
Roosevelt Island's NYPD Community Police Officer Dino Sitaris spoke at last night's Roosevelt Island Residents Association (RIRA) Public Session. Officer Sitaris emphasized that Roosevelt Island was a very safe place to live and that he would be proud to live here with his family. Officer Sitaris did express concern over two recent incidents involving tires being stolen at the Motorgate Garage.

Yes I agree fully. It took 3 years for this agreement to be workout. The one in eastwood only took ten months.that's because the eastwood building committee got a good deal for themseleves.a lot of good hard working people have been forced to move because of the ebc shame on the ebc they should be put in jail.because they took money from sec 8 people for a lawyer. That lawyer was not for sec 8 tenants it was for lap people sec 8 tenants paid for a lawyer was for lap tenants ser there were only 130 apartments going into lap.and 870 going into sec 8. So of couse thr ebc took money from the sec 8 tenants to pay for the lawyer. But of couse se 8 tenants did not need a lawyer the lawyer was not hired for tenants in sec8..but of couse its to let these people in sec 8 .who mosly were the senors old people. They were told that the ebc needs to hire a lawyer because they may lose. Their sec 8.this was a outright lie. The eastwood building committee wanted evertyone in eastwood to pay for a lawyer that was only working for the lap tenants. Sec8 tenants paid for a lawyer that was hired for lap tenants.the ebc are liers.shame on them
