According to the FDR Park:

Celebrating the 200th Anniversary of Walt Whitman's birth, Compagnia De' Colombari presents a free performance at the Park: More Or Less I Am (MOLIA), a music-theatre piece adapted from Whitman's first major work, Song of Myself.

In 1855, Whitman called upon his fellow Americans to contemplate the needs of the nation from a broader and more philosophically inclusive perspective. Today, MOLIA invites us to contemplate what it means to be part of a diverse democratic society.

Compagnia de' Colombari is an international collective of performing artists founded and directed by Karin Coonrod that generates theater in surprising places. Original music by Colin Jacobsen, Kyle Sanna, and Eric Jacobsen.

As you know, the Roosevelt Island Visual Art Association (RIVAA) is an art non-profit organization comprised of an internationally diverse group of artists with a mission to make Roosevelt Island the “Island of Art”.
