The Roosevelt Island 2013 Outdoor Summer Movie Series at Southpoint Park starts June 29 with the showing of The Hunger Games. According to the Roosevelt Island Operating Corp (RIOC), the remaining schedule is:
- July 12 - The Breakfast Club
- July 13 - Pitch Perfect
- July 27 - Brave
- August 10 - Rocky
- August 24 Inception
of the East River waterfront skyline.

If you mulch ones own garden adequately, then you

movies usually start at dusk approx 8 - 8:30
Is there a movie tonight?
Oddly, a tree has been planted almost in front of the screen. It isn't big enough to be a problem this year, but in the future it will be.
Can't the screen be re-positioned?
I don't know. There are random trees planted in the entire field. And the screen is huge.
