Long time Roosevelt Island resident and former Chairman of the NYC Planning Commission Carl Weisbrod was nominated to the MTA Board of Directors today by Mayor Bill de Blasio.

Mr Weisbrod has not previously been involved in Roosevelt Island issues to my knowledge other than asking about opening of wine shop.
