Long Waits For Roosevelt Island Residents At Overcrowded F Train Station This Morning - No Roosevelt Island F Train Service In Either Direction This Weekend
There will be no Roosevelt Island F Train Service to or from Manhattan this weekend.
This morning, the Twitterverse reported long delays and crowds at Roosevelt Island F Train subway station.
F train in Roosevelt Island is always packed. Third one I am waiting. Remove the bars close to the doors in the train because people don't move when new passengers what to enter. #MTA #flinesucks #fml— CarlaGiannina (@carla_giannina) November 16, 2017
F train @mta is worst in NYC from @Rooseveltisland during morning rush hours - platform, trains jam-packed, and people are frustrated! Send more trains through, it’s simple! Train delays are bad for our economy, and for your bottomline @benkallos #nyc #trains #mta #f #feelingsick pic.twitter.com/IZvYbvnT2H— Jaan Paljasma (@jpaljasma) November 16, 2017
@NYGovCuomo @MTA what's the explanation today? Miserable wait for #ftrain @rooseveltisland pic.twitter.com/YZvbVk26z7— Zeeshan Amin (@MusingPondist) November 16, 2017
The F train is horribly delayed, but at least I’m able to enjoy the stalactites of the Roosevelt Island station. pic.twitter.com/cqihipEuA2— Chris Mitchell (@_chris_mitchell) November 16, 2017
@mtanowf there are about 1,000 people waiting now 9:09 am in the #RooseveltIsland station. This is getting really old and it is bullshit. We are one of the highest tax people in the US. We should expect EXCELLENT service from the MTA.— Elena Quevedo (@elena_equevedo) November 16, 2017
Also, received report that internet not working this evening in Roosevelt Island subway station.45 min at Roosevelt Island station (8:30 to 9:15), hardly anyone on the already packed platform could get into the 3 trains that came by...— Bhangeri (@bhangeri) November 16, 2017
