Roosevelt Island Women's Health Organization, Gallery RIVAA Jazz Programming and New Amalgamated Bank Manager Presentations At January RIRA Public Session
Prior to the start of every monthly meeting of the Roosevelt Island Residents Association (RIRA) Common Council there is a Public Session where community members can address the Council on issues of concern, upcoming events or any other relevant topic.
During the January 2013 Common Council the Public Session included:
- an introduction by the new Amalgamated Bank Manager
- an invitation to join Roosevelt Island's Woman's Health organization and
- Gallery RIVAA report on Sunday Jazz and future music programming with resident and world known musicians.
Also, discussed at the January RIRA meeting were:
- Public Safety,
- Island Services and
- Certificates of Merit awarded for Roosevelt Island Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
