Traditional Korean Child's Hanbok Dress And Japanese Kimono Window Display By Roosevelt Island Historical Society As Salute To Upcoming April 29 Cherry Blossom Festival
Roosevelt Island Historical Society (RIHS) President Judy Berdy shares these photos and reports:
The RIHS is saluting our annual Cherry Blossom Festival with the display in the Rivercross window (next to Subway). On display are a child's Korean HanbokHere's more on the traditional Korean Hanbok dress
and three Japanese kimonos.
This year the Cherry Blossom Festival will be held on Saturday, April 29th from 12 Noon to 5 p.m. The festival is a multi-organization event with many island organizations taking part including RIOC, RIRA, parents groups and many more.
