The Times Union Capital Confidential Blog lists Roosevelt Island residents and RIOC Board Nominees Michael Shinozaki and Margie Smith as:

... people who have been nominated by the governor to a range of positions and whose nominations may not get a final vote until September when the Senate is tentatively scheduled to return....

Mr. Shinozaki was nominated to the RIOC Board by the Governor on July 16 and Ms. Smith on June 15.
