The Roosevelt Island Operating Corp (RIOC) sent this advisory at 10:17 PM last night:
I asked RIOC what happened at the Pier last night and received this response from their Press Spokesperson earlier today:Due to an incident requiring NYPD and FDNY response along the west drive and riverwalk area ALL Red Bus Service will be operating along the east drive until further notice.Sincerely,

Last night (10/25/12) at approximately 9:35pm, PSD responded to an alleged jumper in the East River. NYPD Harbor Unit responded and after a search, deemed it unfounded. Any other questions should be directed to the NYPD.
