Fruits, Vegetables And Holiday Spirit At The Roosevelt Island Farmers Market Today As Shoppers Enjoyed Christmas Carols From The Sugar Hill Mennonite Mission Choir

Roosevelt Islanders shopping for their fruits and vegetables at the Saturday Farmers Market today were treated to Christmas carols from the Sugar Hill Mennonite Mission Choir.

A great time was had at last Friday's Roosevelt Island Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Rivercross lawn.

Santa Claus and the excited crowd began the Tree Lighting countdown from 10 down to 1

Roosevelt Island Cabrini Christmas Market Saturday December 12, Proceeds Go To Residents In Need Of Food For Holidays - Also, Good Shepherd Christmas Carols On Sunday and Christmas Trees For Sale All Weekend

The Cabrini Christmas Market will take place Saturday December 12 at the Good Shepherd Chapel Lower Level from 10 AM - 3 PM. According to this notice posted on the street kiosks, all proceeds go to Roosevelt Island residents in need of food for the holidays.

On Sunday December 13, it's the Annual Christmas Candlelight Service And Carols at the Church Of The Good Shepherd starting 8 PM.

Also, Christmas Trees are available to buy from the Roosevelt Island PS/IS 217 PTA at Motorgate Plaza
