Learned this evening that there will be a Memorial Service tomorrow in honor of Roosevelt Island Public Safety Department Officer Frensheria Michael who passed away March 31. Here are the details:

The Public Safety Department will be hosting a Memorial Service in honor of Officer Frensheria Michael at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, on Friday, May 17th at 5:00 PM. This service will afford the residents of Roosevelt Island and co-workers of Officer Michael the opportunity to remember and honor Officer “Mikey” Michael’s dedication to Roosevelt Island, her warm smile and boundless energy.
