Outdoor Summer Movies Return to Roosevelt Island's Firefighters Field starting Saturday, June 26 with the showing of Spiderman followed by:
- Zoolander - Saturday July 10,
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Saturday July 24,
- Conspiracy Theory - Saturday August 7 and
- Nighthawks - August 21.
Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Roosevelt Island's General Development Plan, the theme of this summer's Roosevelt Island Outdoor Summer Movie Series is films shot on Roosevelt Island.

I knew the other 3 were shot on RI, but I am going to have to see TMNT and Zoolander again to catch the RI scenes.

I find it more fun to watch Denver outdoor movies than watching inside the movie house. For me it is more romantic to watch movies under the blanket of stars and moon. The cold feeling adds spice to the moment, that makes couple closer and closer to one another. I feel the same way with summer concert. Denver is a great place for outdoor activities.
