Roosevelt Island Thursday Night Trivia

is coming to the Anything At All restaurant

starting March 21

at the Graduate Hotel on the Cornell Tech campus (22 North Loop Road).

Graduate Hotel General Manager Mohit Malhotra reports:

We are starting a new trivia league beginning March 21 at our Lobby restaurant. This is recurring every other Thursday starting March 21.

Join us for Test Your Smarts Trivia, hosted by NYC Trivia League on select Thursdays from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Anything At All.

Hosted by NYC Trivia League, this event is free and open to everyone, so make sure to bring your A game.

Happy St Patrick's Day From Roosevelt Island, Celebrate Tomorrow With Live Irish Music, A Pint And Food At Granny Annie's - Some History, Clancy Brothers/Tommy Makem & Dropkick Murphy's Too

Roosevelt Island Starbucks, Jupioca & Granny Annie's Glass Door Windows Smashed In And Premises Broken Into Overnight - $5 Thousand Stolen Says NYPD

Early this morning at approximately 2 AM, the Roosevelt Island Starbucks, 

Jupioca juice bar 

 and Granny Annie's restaurant

had their doors smashed in and premises broken into.

According to a NYPD spokesperson:

  • 2 unknown suspects attempted burglary at Granny Annie's by breaking the glass door window and removing cash from the register draw which was empty. 
  • There was a burglary at Jupioca where 1 unknown suspect broke the glass door window and removed $5 thousand in cash.
  • No information on the Starbucks break in at this time.

The break-ins are currently under investigation by NYPD.

There was no response to my inquiry for information from Roosevelt Island Operating Corp (RIOC) about the incident.

Live Music Every Friday Night At Roosevelt Island's Granny Annie's, Take A Listen To Johnny Cash's Ring Of Fire - Boozy Hot Chocolate & Warm Mulled Cider On A Cold Night Too

Roosevelt Island's Granny Annie's Bar & Kitchen is hosting live music every Friday night from 7 - 10 PM with Derek Dempsey. Here's a little of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire from last night.

Granny Annie's has also had a County Bluegrass Sunday Brunch. Not sure if they still do.
