"Rantings of a madwoman." I got that far and couldn't continue reading your rant. I couldn't stop laughing at how you don't even realize how hypocritical that statement is.

It's 56 degrees out - which means we all (well, the rest of us..) have better things to do than keep reading this... Later, I'll take the time to find all of your bogus facts (5:1? like the 5:1 executive comps you claimed was a law in European countries?). That should give us an idea of who is presenting facts vs fiction.

Frank - you may be right about all of this. But having Helen on your side actually hurts...

The Treasurer is quite pleased today that the Main St Maniac - AKA SherieL - has so far today refrained from sending him any further messages pressuring him to "exonerate" the lying 2013 CBF financial report and the liars who wrote or had a hand in preparing it. Obviously, that he will never do, as he believes in the truth, and in keeping it real, today, tomorrow and everyday!

Fellow-felines: When the Treasurer is happy, the Kitty is happy!

Why bother? In case you haven't yet figured it out, nobody cares what you think. Unless you have anything of substance to add, you can butt out.

5:1 odds, genius. Yep - IMO I'm 5 x more likely to eliminate my opponent than she is to finish me off.

Europeans are way more progressive than us in some areas - including putting limits on executive compensation. They are moving toward enacting laws on the problem of excessive executive compensation - to try to reduce income inequality, which is a glaring problem here as well as in Europe. Obviously, you don't seem to think so, but such a merciless attitude would seem to mesh perfectly with your overall obliviousness. .

We don't need your comments from the peanut gallery on Frank: I'm sure my effort won't interfere with or in any way curtail anything he might want to say. Like Frank needs your advice. Hah. If Frank dislikes what I'm doing, he can tell me anytime. So STFU.

Nice weather or not, indoors or out, I can take you on as well, Rossie, if you actually had anything of substance to say other than the blather that usually passes for comments from you. Try me.

Like anyone cares what you read or think, Trust me: The thoughts of a self-important snob like you are only of concern to yourself.

If you have nothing to say about the topic under discussion, that is, the lying 2013 CBF financial report, then it's best to crawl back into your tiny over-priced unit and zip it.

If you are so convinced I'm wrong, why don't you look up SherieL and kiss up to her (eewww) - the two of you could make a fabulously vomit-inducing duo, for those times when little Kitty needs to cough up a hairball!

Dear Readers:

This will be my last post if I can help it, as Helen is truly out of control. I wish some of you would tell her to back off. When they came for...etc...you know the parable, don't you?

Helen, in fact all the receipts for money received for the hats/visors sold were turned in and accounted for by your husband, Russ Fields, the treasurer for RIRA at the time and now. I would have though you'd know this. You don't know everything, I guess, though you purport to. What a waste of a quick, but poorly wired brain.

If/when you make accusations you do really need to make them with actual, not imagined, facts attached. This will be my last post to you. You are truly off your meds and could use something to calm yourself down. There is not fraud, just yours and Frank's imagined bit. There may have been some imperfect accounting, by someone who is not an accountant, but RIRA actually MADE money, as much as you hate to admit it during the 2013 Cherry Blossom Festival, and now something that was attended by 10K people and that was a very positive face for RIRA and the community you have all ruined. There will be none this year and possibly ever again. What a shame when RIRA was recognized by all our Congresswoman through the U.S. Congress, our State Assemblyman, with framed commendations, and from the Consul General of Japan. What positive program, exactly have YOU produced to represent this community?

You need to stop this venomous attacks of people who have worked hard and who continue to try to do so, despite your ugliness. You need buckle down and do some work. You are driving many people who want to work and produce something POSITIVE. With this constant attacking of people, Helen, you are driving people away. Is that really your goal? Do you have a goal? At the very least, your responsibility as Secretary of RIRA requires you to come up with viable Minutes, and please make them less than 9 pages (yes, folks, NINE). Also they need to be without commentary. Then need to have motions, votes with very few comments unless they move the conversation forward. There now it's public what you need to do.

:-) Nice try, SherieL.

"Like anyone cares what you read or think."

The exact same can be said about you and you still keep on writing long tirades about nothing.

CheshireKitty said...

At least dear Rossie cares enough about me, if he keeps opposing my "long tirades!" That's one person, Yet! And you too must care, if you took the time to pen your above "love note!" Hahaha! :-D

Nobody has ever said the report reflected reality. One person pointed it out, a long time ago. What he said then, is still true. Check it out for yourself:

To: RIRA Common Council Talk

Subject: [CC Talk] SCE Cherry Blossom Financials, Ellen/Jeff/Mark what's your
take?

Ellen/Jeff-E/Mark-

I've asked for financials on the Cherry Blossom festival for several meetings, there were many irregularities in this project, and Lynne's answers were evasive. I watched Lydia represent the SCE and the RIOC Ops Committee meeting where Lydia defended the indefensible: the vendor had 10,000 people, who waited on long lines for food/drink/etc., but the vendor lost money (Lydia's belief, as she reported the vendor's position). So a vendor is working continuously with maximum customers and maximum profitability, but loses money? RIOC Board members were in disbelief of Lydia's (and RIRA's position).

I've raised those points before, and Lydia's statements are on the video. So now we have received the committee-approved financials but there was no opportunity to
discuss them at the October Common Council meeting (because of Ellen's
agenda/policy/management of the meeting).

These financials don't look like anything I've ever seen before, and
certainly are different from prior SCE event financials (especially in form),
and different than other RIRA committees (again, in form).

I asked Russ (our Treasurer) about these: Did he put them together? No. Do they make sense to him? No.
Russ is a CPA, and he has serious concerns about these financials. According to the RIRA Constitution,
Definitions: "Council Officers– the President, Vice President, Secretary,
Treasurer and Committee Chairs". So
the officers include: Ellen (President), Jeff E (VP), Russ (Treasurer), Jeff P
& Mark (Communications), Joe (GRC), Joyce (Housing), Aaron (ISC), Frank
(Planning), Erin (PSC), Lynne (SCE), Dave (C/B).

To me this looks really problematic: RIRA has never had this kind of money ($34K) on any effort, and 90% of Revenue is merely marked as "In-Kind Donations". An an Officer of a non-for-profit corporation, this is screaming AUDIT. But maybe other professionals have different
standards. What do other Officers think?
