Roosevelt Island Historical Society President Judy Berdy talked about the Octagon Asylum ruins restoration into a luxury apartment buildingRiverwalk Bar & Grill owner Jonathan Hoo said that after a first few years of taking lumps with slow business he has his fingers crossed for a bright future with the coming of new residential developments and Cornell Tech.
Other residents did not want to talk to the reporter because it is so great they want it to stay that way and not tell others.

I doubt the Bar & Grill has really been "taking lumps with slow business." considering that it is often crowded with a capital C with ZogSport folks.

The video is no longer available but there is a screen shot of them kissing the ground at Second Avenue after getting off Tram.

Way to represent Jonathan Hoo ... they virtually have a monopoly here and are still not making money? Come on, not buying it.
Appears that Fox has a LOVE/Hate relationship with the Island.
