Assault In Roosevelt Island Roosevelt Landings Building Stairway Early Sunday Morning - Victim Suffered Multiple Cuts, Slashes And Stab Wounds
According to a NYPD spokesperson:
On Sunday at approximately 0341 hours a 35 year-old male informed police that he was inside of 560 Main Street in a stairway when he suffered multiple cuts, slashes and stab wounds by an unknown cutting instrument on his left arm, stomach, and chest. Suspect is male and known to victim. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

The Roosevelt Island Public Safety Department Incident Report described the assault as follows:
10/01/17 – 0343 – 560 Main Street – Assault – PSD/NYPD/EMS responded – Transported to Hospital.
