The weather is cold and dreary today but it does not matter because today is opening day for Major League Baseball. The Yankees are playing the Tigers this afternoon at the Stadium.

For the future Major League Baseball players and fans, there's still time for you kids to sign up for the Roosevelt Island Youth Program Little League.
UPDATE 4/1 - For the young at heart, the Roosevelt Island Adult Softball Pick Up game is back on Saturday mornings at Firefighters Field (when available) and elsewhere on Roosevelt Island when Firefighters Field is not available.
