Also, the Executive Session to discuss the RIOC Westview Ground Lease extension

is because the Westview Co-op Non-Eviction Conversion Plan was sent to tenants earlier this month by the building's owner. One Westview tenant tweeted:

On May 1, I asked Westview building owner representative David Hirshhorn:
I understand that the Westview Non-Eviction Coop conversion offering plan has been released this week.

Is that true?...

Any comment from RY Management on matter. Can you provide details about the plan.
Mr. Hirshhorn replied:
Yes, the Red Herring was filed with the Department of Law and copies were provided today to all Westview residents. The Plan is very similar to the Island House plan. We have now asked RIOC to extend the Westview Ground Lease on the same terms that RIOC extended the Island House Ground Lease.
I asked the residents from the Westview Task Force for comment as well but have received no reply yet.

Here's information on the Island House conversion and ground lease extension cited by Mr. Hirshhorn
