Learn To Swim on Roosevelt Island With the Marlins

The Roosevelt Island Marlins are conducting a 'Learn to Swim" Program for those aged 4-14 at the Westview Pool (625 Main Street) on Saturday, September 20 and 27.

In addition to the pool at Westview, Roosevelt Island has 2 outdoor pools, one each at Manhattan Park and the Octagon as well as three indoor pools including Westview's. The other two indoor pools are located at the Rivercross building and Sportspark. There is another pool at Island House but that has been shut down for more than 24 years according to a 2001 Main Street WIRE article which at the time wrote that the pool had been closed for 17 years.
