Matthew Katz Is The New President Of The Roosevelt Island Residents Association (RIRA) & New RIRA Common Council Delegates

Challenger Matthew Katz won the race for the Roosevelt Island Residents Association (RIRA) President over incumbent Frank Farance. The vote was 887 votes for Mr. Katz to 496 for Mr. Farance.

Ellen Polivy was unopposed and returns to RIRA as Vice President. She received 1033 votes.

The 5 Octagon Common Council Delegates in order of total number of votes received are:
1- Denise Shull
2 - Bill Long
3 - Scott Bradbury
4- Guy (Max) Long
5 - tie between Jeffrey Escobar and Sora Caetana (Since there is a tie for the 5 spot, a decision will need to be made by RIRA as to who is the #5 Common Council Delegate and who is the First Alternate.
7 - Bevin Curry is alternate #2

Steven Heller is the RIRA Delegate From 2 River Road.

Jim Bates is the RIRA Delegate from 4 River Road.

Delores Green and Anthony Moran are the RIRA Delegates from 546 Main Street.

The 3 Island House RIRA Delegates in order of total number of votes received are:
1- Helen Chirvas
2- Frank Farance
3 - Tie Between Mihaela Preradovic and Russell Fields (Since there is a tie for the #3 spot, a decision will need to be made by RIRA who is the #3 Common Council Delegate and who is the First Alternate.)
4- Katarzyna Krause-Edelman is alternate # 2.

The 3 Westview RIRA Delegates in order of total number of votes received are:

The 8 Manhattan Park (10- 40 River Road) Delegates in order of total number of votes received are:
